LIZZY BROOKS

LIZZY BROOKS is a New York based actor, writer, and director who specializes in compassionate storytelling of marginalized bodies, stories, and experiences with truth, radical joy, and unwavering diligence.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Lizzy received her Bachelor's from Columbia University. Her stage work has been featured at Longacre Theatre (Broadway), NYTW, Connelly Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory, Alabama Shakespeare Festival among many others. She can also be seen on screen on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and NBC.

She is a second-round finalist in the 2026-2027 Princess Grace Awards for Acting (Grace Levine Theatre award), a Stephen Sondheim Fellow, and a Lotta Theatrical ​Recipient 3 years running.

She is a graduate of Brown/Trinity Repertory in Providence, Rhode Island and a faculty member at the Eugene O'Neill Center in Waterford, Connecticut.

She hopes to honor the great predecessors that paved the way before her and usher in new pathways for artists along the way. ​​​​
