LIZZY BROOKS

Hi, I'm Lizzy! 

​

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I came to New York to receive my Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Columbia University. After realizing that museum curation was not for me, I discovered my love of theater, eventually completing my Masters in Fine Arts from Brown University/Trinity Rep.

I'm one of six children. Can you guess where I am in the order?

When I'm not performing, I'm probably humming a 90's Mariah Carey song, looking for my keys, or tutoring my favorite students. 

​

I love acting. Period. I love the camaraderie, the collaboration amongst peers, the impact on audiences, young and old. And ​I believe that art, whether on stage, screen, or in the classroom, can change trajectories and break down formidable barriers. 

​

I hope to honor the great predecessors that paved the way before me and usher in new pathways for artists along the way. ​​​​
